Who is Teté?
It is a tero, one of the most curious bird species that inhabit Latin America. In Rosario, venue for the next South American Youth Games 2022, they can be found in the “Parque de la Independencia”, the nerve center of the Games. They are birds that always travel in flocks, quite intelligent and that take care of their own better than anyone.
This mascot is a tribute to the official character of the 1982 Cruz del Sur Games that took place 40 years ago in the city.
Teté is always from here to there. He moves in a group and is attentive to what is happening around him. He is very active and friendly, he loves social media and is a fan of taking selfies with everyone.
